Our Story
Founded in 1961 by Jillian Frers, who arrived from England and never quite left it behind, The Willow Vine is where British heritage met Old Florida and decided to stay.
Clawfoot bathtubs turned into planters, painted with Florida scenes. A koi pond. String lights over long green picnic tables. Inside the old house, a formal room where afternoon tea is poured from the owner's own china. Outside, the burger that locals have argued about for generations.
It is, as more than one visitor has put it, the best-kept secret in Savannah.
The Tea Room
Inside the old house, finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream, and pots of loose-leaf tea — poured from the owner's own personal china collection, brought over from England.

In Their Words
"Absolutely love. Wanted to take my mom to lunch, it was perfect! Such a cute little place with cool decor inside British themed, and more islandy outside. The woman who owns the place is super sweet, loved chatting with her. And the burger was to die for. Never knew tea and burgers would go well together but it did!"
"Wonderful experience. Very laid back joint. I spoke with three of the staff and they were all super nice; one even gave me a tour of the tea room. THE BURGER WAS a nice size, hot, juicy and tasty. The fries were crinkle cut and fried perfectly."
"This was the cutest, most authentic tea house ive ever visited. The owner is from England and was in the room and we found out all of the China used is her personal China. Atmosphere was amazing, food and tea was great too. 10/10. Will definitely be returning :)"
